After my grandson developed a small rash from using a paci holder that had the nylon fabric-string to loop on the paci, I spied these Three Little Tots all silicone. The silicone loop end does not absorb & hold saliva from baby’s drool against the cheek. Additionally, you can rinse & wash the silicone holder with dish detergent & rinse and pat dry for immediate use of air dry for future use. Silicone also tugs very secure to hold the paci a full day while the nylon string-loops are slick material and begin working loose and have to be periodically tightened. Ordered 6 different colors and styles (weave, rope braid & herringbone) for him to coordinate with his outfits. At 6 months old these have been great…he is able to retrieve his paci on his own and replace in his mouth as the length of holder and snug loop through the Nuk pacifier is baby-user friendly. (His Nuk does not have the round holder on the pacifier, just a hole on the side of the mouth area, this paci holder is perfect for that paci design.) Our daughter is thrilled with these and other parents at their preschool have asked about the holder because several of them also have pacifiers with the hole at the mouth area of pacifier.
